I have been looking for a hero product to minimise the look of my pores for ages as nothing seems to work terribly well. I would like to try the Bare Minerals range to see if it is effective.

I have never used an Urban Decay palette before as there are a lot of different shades in them and I have always thought that there would be some colours in the palette I would just never use. This Naked Honey palette though is beautiful and I think I will use all of the eye shadows in it, in fact I have tried most of them out already. The actual palette comes packed in a card box and the first thing I noticed when I removed the product from its outer box was the lovely satisfying feel in my hand of the attractive chunky shiny golden coloured textured pack. I know that attractive packaging is not necessarily important but it really is lovely to have. The palette comes with one double ended brush applicator. With 12 different eye shadows in the box you might want to get a few spare ones though but the brush is a good one and makes the product easy to apply. The colours glide on beautifully and blend easily and once they are on they stay put all day with no smudges or creasing at all and believe me I have tested this product very well. The colours are super quality and highly pigmented and are bright, (especially the pretty glittery ones), and jewel like which I think is the best thing about the palette. There is a fab range of shades here from chocolate browns to shining golds. I have experimented with them and am able to use the palette both for day time work looks as well as much more dramatic night time going out styles so I think this is a good useful & versatile buy. I have blonde hair and I find that these shades suit me very well. Please do not be put off that the shades look bright in the box as they blend very well and you can either have a dramatic look or apply them sparingly for a much more subtle appearance. I would recommend this palette to anybody and I also think it would make an amazing gift. I think if you will use all of the colours in it it is pretty cost effective as well.
